That might’ve come across too harshly. I agree that the core is definitely best in class.
I think the layer built on top of this data, like the CDP and Workflows, could use some more resources. I feel like there’s a lot of potential here to offer a better experience than RudderStack, Segment, and tools like Iterable and Braze.
You have all this data, but you need a way to turn it into marketing action. Attribution is also a big one.
For example, I think having an option for identity resolution would be great.
@GergelyOrosz@julesmalin What if it’s a legitimate product that should be mentioned in the post? Would you add it without asking for anything in return?
I think all labs confirmed they're relying now more on post-training RL to improve the models.
Writing, creative work, basically anything without a clear right/wrong answer still needs human preferences or a learned reward model.
Pure rule-based RL doesn’t transfer well there and I feel like that's the reason why it's all so shit now.
@hakeemwonders@shainadenny Are people unironically using GHL? Isn’t it an inferior product to everything else available on the market? Used it once, it felt like a scam.
I wonder if Google sharing ad revenue based on how often you show up in AI Overviews is the path forward.
It might incentivize people to keep producing content, but also keeps AI Overviews around, which are honestly an upgrade when you're searching for something. I find myself using AI mode most of the time nowadays.
AI is killing All About Berlin. When you Google something, you used to get a link to my website, but now you get an AI-generated answer trained on my work. This has a devastating impact on traffic.
PostHog's new UI is great for marketing but terrible for daily doc/guide usage. Hard to navigate, link, and tab between resources during client work. Love their approach but they've overlooked power user needs here.
@Ayoubka_@iliazolotukhin@namu_paak Imo there’s still need for Figma but not being able to easily move prototypes / wireframes from CC to Figma and the other way around is making it unusable. Easier to iterate with CC.
There might be plugins for this but I haven’t looked into it yet.
