Dr Delasau Surgeon at CWM and his team hiked for 5 hours on foot whilst their equipment was a carried on horses to visit Nakida the village of the Yavusa Navucu in Nagonenicolo. They did COVID surveillance and vaccinations and even treated other ailments. #LeavingNoOneBehind

The villagers had been waiting for us from midday
We arrived tired and hungry
We were greeted with love
A heavenly dinner
Plenty of warm blankets awaited after an Awareness Talk
We were just happy to make it alive
Vaccinations and SOPD will have to wait until the next day
