My first OC commission: Liv, owned by Avocadog on FB! This is a modified @SylenisCrafts pattern and features a hand painted nose, full appliqué including eyes, and big moveable arms for hugging! Also a couple secret things to be revealed on delivery.😉

@denimlich Thank you! I enlarged the pattern for the hands and feet to get a real squishy feel and I’m so happy with it!

@gabifrutti Thank you!! I started off doing it by hand, but now I use a zigzag stitch on my machine. I use an iron-on stabilizer for extra hold and there’s a lot of hand-cranking and veeeeery slow stitching to make sure I get it in the exact spot I want. Lots of practice!

Patterning is a long and often frustrating process. I just want to do it perfectly first try! But I have to remember that with each rendition, I’m learning. I can apply my new knowledge to every other plush I make.
