Our engineering team has been working intensively behind the scenes to identify the bottlenecks, stabilize the infrastructure, and restore a smoother experience. We’re happy to say that the platform is now stable and operating normally. ✅

To ensure a more reliable experience for everyone, we are introducing a scheduled KYC batch completion model. Rather than having everyone access and process KYC simultaneously, users will be moved through controlled batches. This approach will help us:

• Manage traffic more effectively
• Reduce server pressure
• Improve KYC accessibility and completion
• Maintain platform stability
• Deliver a smoother experience for the entire community

The batching system was designed to serve you better, not to slow you down. We also want to congratulate the many users who have already been successfully migrated. 🎉 For those still waiting, your migration is on the way. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through each batch.

Dear Grey Network Community,

We have officially reached and significantly surpassed the 100,000 user milestone. As outlined in our Tokenomics and Halving Schedule, reaching 100K users activates the next stage of our automated mining reward mechanism.

The 100K milestone was reached some time ago, but the halving did not take effect immediately due to several system upgrades and infrastructure improvements being carried out at the time to continuously serve our esteemed community better. During this period, the existing mining rate remained active while these upgrades were being implemented and finalized.

With the necessary improvements now in place, the 100K halving will take effect on September 1st, 2026, in accordance with the established halving mechanism and published schedule.

✅ Base Mining Rate: 0.5 GREY/hour → 0.25 GREY/hour
✅ Signup/Invite Bonus: 50 GREY → 25 GREY

Both rewards will be reduced by 50%, as defined by the Grey Network halving mechanism.

As part of our commitment to developing real world utilities around $GREY, we are pleased to share an update on one of the core ecosystem utilities currently under development: the Grey Network Marketplace.

A few days ago, we introduced the Marketplace button inside the Grey Network mining app, giving our community a first look at one of the utilities we are actively building. The Marketplace, also accessible at https://t.co/pctwxKQVct, is part of our broader vision to create practical use cases for $GREY and establish an ecosystem where the coin serves a genuine purpose beyond mining.

🛒 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗦 & 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗖𝗘

The Grey Network Marketplace will allow users to shop for goods from participating merchants, pay with $GREY, and have their purchases delivered to their location. Through our Merchant Program, verified businesses will be able to register their stores and upload products for buyers to discover and purchase.

The Marketplace will initially support regional commerce, connecting buyers with merchants within or close to their region. As the merchant network grows, our goal is to expand beyond regional commerce into a global marketplace where users can purchase goods from merchants around the world and have them delivered to their locations.

💰 $𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗔𝗦 𝗔 𝗠𝗘𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗣𝗔𝗬𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧

At the heart of the Marketplace is $GREY as the means of payment. Goods and services offered through the platform will be purchased using $GREY, giving the coin a direct and practical function within the ecosystem. Merchants joining the Merchant Program will be required to accept $GREY and comply with applicable Marketplace policies covering product standards, merchant conduct, pricing, transactions, fulfilment, delivery and the applicable $GREY valuation.

The USD value of $GREY referenced within the Marketplace represents the estimated value being considered by Grey Network for the coin. While this remains subject to confirmation as development progresses, merchants participating in the Marketplace will be required to recognise and comply with the applicable $GREY value established by Grey Network.

Users will always have the freedom to use their $GREY as they choose, including trading or selling it elsewhere. Our goal is to build an ecosystem where $GREY has practical utility and can be used to access real goods, services and other utilities.

This is the best thing we’ve ever built👇 in terms of relevance, UX and the model itself.

And honestly I’m very proud of it.

We spent a long time thinking about how to design prediction markets without forcing them into a zero-sum game because zero-sum is exactly what turns normies away. We wanted a playful, light and fun form of predicting. Something anyone could enjoy without pressure.

It all started with this UX idea for @solanamobile Seeker https://t.co/YpbGofVSWi (it’s coming) for that this required a different model than anything traditional prediction markets use.

I’ve always been a believer in ultra-simple single-screen UX. And this time we nailed it:

one screen — three taps 👇

1️⃣ Tap ‘OPEN’ in Telegram (no sign-up, no wallets, you’re instantly in)

2️⃣ Tap how many positions 🔼 or 🔽 the track will move by tomorrow

3️⃣ Tap how many Telegram Stars ⭐️ you want to put

The next day all users’ Stars from the shared pool are distributed based on how close each prediction was to the outcome.

This is truly the simplest prediction user experience that exists today and the easiest one-tap onboarding to Solana because users predict with Telegram Stars and receive rewards in SOL also in a single tap right inside Telegram.
