Today, we have enjoyed celebrating #WorldBookDay with a variety of engaging and exciting activities. These have included fun treasure hunts, tasty meals and snacks inspired by books, as well as enjoyable competitions, quizzes, and displays by pupils.

We were delighted that several St John’s pupils were invited to take part in the national parade at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London, this morning. Pupils took great pride in laying a wreath in remembrance of Old Johnians, and attended the Guards’ Chapel ceremony that followed.
Ahead of Armistice Day tomorrow, the entire school stood together solemnly on the Quad this morning, taking a poignant moment to pause, reflect and remember during the Act of Remembrance.

The academic year at St John’s ended with a spectacular Speech Day on Saturday 1 July. It was wonderful to welcome our community to celebrate the year, present prizes, and bid a fond farewell to our departing Upper Sixth.
