1. If the amendments to change the minimum age of criminal responsibilty to 14 as proposed by SF, Alliance & SDLP becomes law a 13 year old in England recently convicted of aiding & abetting the rape of 2 schools girls could not even be investigated, as it would not be a crime.

Farm Inheritance Tax – a step in the right direction 🌾

It is right to welcome the increase in the farm IHT threshold from £1m to £2.5m, easing pressure on family farms.

Spousal transfers mean up to £5m can be passed on but this doesn’t go far enough.

We’ll keep pushing for this policy to be scrapped altogether.

A busy day - but the highlight for me was meeting Brindle - a gentle rescue greyhound at Causeway Coast Dog Rescue’s conference in Belfast today. It was great to be able to drop in for a couple of hours and here from experts in dog welfare. @CCDogRescue
