Westhoughton Town Council organised Civic Event for #RemembranceSunday 10th November - 101st anniversary of WWI Armistice.
Parade departs Firways 9:40am for short Service at St. Barts (10am), ahead of Wreath Laying at War Memorial (11am), followed by town centre Parade.

The beacon on top of Rivington Pike will be lit tonight as part of the Remembrance commemorations. You'll be able to see a poppy symbol reflected onto the beacon each evening for the next week.
