@sito_ I saw your description and thought, "ooh, I'd like that!", went to Spotify and discovered I was already following them (great minds think alike?), but was disappointed to not find this album there.
I've found the Waking Up app to be incredibly valuable... if you're looking for a mindfulness/meditation/make-you-think app and can't afford one, please reach out to their team for this generous offer. And if you can afford it, know that you're helping support those who can't.
@bethdean "The Overstory" by Richard Powers is fantastic (related non-fiction is "The Hidden Life of Trees", also great). Both "The Nickel Boys" and "The Underground Railroad" by Colson Whitehead made a big impression on me as well.
@nfranus @saeedwkhan Curious about Dropbox Passwords as well. Been using 1Password for forever but wouldn't mind consolidating my costs and I already pay for Dropbox...
If I was to write a book about the last 4 years, I think I would call it, "Claimed, Without Evidence."
(No, I'm not planning on writing a book about the last 4 years.)
π Fifty years ago today, Oregon blew up a rotting whale carcass.
"It was like a blubber snowstorm."
This the real story of the exploding whale. https://t.co/XqfrRagwif
@espiers A good, breathable rain jacket is a necessity, then add/remove layers under that. You could also try waterproof socksβI've had mixed results with them as I feel like my shoes slide around too much. And embrace the challenge instead of dreading it!
@sito_ I'd like to say you get past that, but I'm not sure you do. Also, maybe it's because you know there's always more to learn, so when you *stop* asking, that's when you should worry.
