Interesting. Some call my office “busy” (adults). More (mostly Ss) point out the unusual/ask Qs about items - 1,000 paper cranes gift from Atomic Survivors, pic of my dogs, an award/diploma. I do lean to “value/different” > thematic. Hrm…

Tues, I interviewed.
I was distracted, rocked from a call, walked into what I SHOULD have expected …but was disappointed in seeing b/c I wanted ...different. I wanted “walk the talk” & got tradition. So, I knew as walked in, it would be “no”. Today - this. ❤️

@LangeTeach @WrightCalie @ChristieNold Have you spoken with them about your concern - very directly? You may learn a story…or not. But the knowledge you get from from that convo can shed light on direction to go. …and you can always watermark those “view only” files. 😉

@AfroFranco2 @ToriGlass When mine were little, we used “shake it off” for little bumps/hurts. As a HS kid, I’ve caught one of them doing a little foot juggle without thinking for a stubbed toe & it made me smile all day.

This. I’ll repeat my own version: you can train for skills, you can’t train for personality. You are building a team, a family when you hire. The wrong personality can be a cancer to culture.
