Its okay to take a social media cleanse. I take them regularly to help step away from things and try to focus on my life off the screen. But it also isn't bad to have your support system online.

In honor of Self-Injury Awareness Day, we'll be sharing some alternatives to self-harm and positive reminders for people going through self-injury recovery (thread).
This is dedicated for self-Injury Awareness Day: You are not “a cutter,” you are a person. You are not only your pain, wounds, & scars. You are also better things. You are: Possibility, hope, promise, & so much more. You are the ppl that you love & the people who love you...
- It’s okay if you don’t know what you’re doing.
- It’s okay if you’re scared.
- It’s okay if you’re struggling.
- it’s okay to not have everything together
It’ll be okay. Give it time and keep fighting.

promise me one thing this week. when someone asks you how you are, be truthful and honest so they can help you. don’t just go with the “i’m fine”. it’s okay to not be okay. and sometimes you just need a little help reaching out.
Native people have the highest suicide rates out of any ethnicity in the world. It's the highest among youth. We need proper resources for native people. It shouldn't be a common occurrence that if you are native, that chances are, you have lost a friend to suicide. #BellLetsTalk
