Today Birch and Hazel class continued their learning about 'the great fire of London'. They explored which materials would burn, and then they burnt their own houses that they had built, with help from our very own fire fighter Mr Craddock!
Not long after that the Year 6 children went on their residential to @Kingswood_ which they thoroughly enjoyed. They particularly enjoyed the zipwire and nightline! Thank you for a great experience, from the children of St Mark's.
We began the year with our annual year 4 and 5 residential to Nant Glyn. The children loved being in the outdoors and being given a variety of experiences. Thanks as always @educationaway from the children of St Mark's!
Reminder for KS1 parents with children who will be undertaking the phonics screening check, that there is a meeting on Thursday 23rd May at 3.30.
