A beautiful service to bid farewell to Revd Canon Steve Coulson at St Mark’s Kennington.
It was great to see so many community groups, local residents, wider church community and young people in attendance to thank Steve & Rebecca for all their hard work over the years 🙏🏾🙂
Huge sports story coming out of Satellites Christian Festival....the youth of St Mark's Kennington have won the football tournament. Huge congratulations! Look forward to welcoming the team home tomorrow
Inspiring service of celebration for the Kingston-Matabeleland Link at St Mark’s Kennington with the Rt Rev’d Cleophas Lunga, Bishop of Matabeleland. ‘Come, you that are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you’. @SouthwarkCofE
Wonderful to confirm Cherie, Terry, Owalabi, Elma, Princess and Victor this morning @stmarksken and to get my blood pressure checked c/o @atbeaconproject after the service! @SouthwarkCofE
Fantastic celebration at St Andrew’s Mpopoma for their patronal festival. A joy to confirm alongside my dear friend +Cleophas Lunga. ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news’! @SouthwarkCofE
This morning we arrived at the site of a planned church, school & clinic at St Mark’s, Filabusi, 150km outside Bulawayo to find the whole community turned out. Lovely to hear their vision & commitment to the project. ‘Behold, I am doing a new thing, do you not perceive it?’
Inspiring to visit the site for the future St Cecilia’s secondary school, Lupane, 20km from the main road. Cleared from the forest, a lot of work to make it a reality but will be utterly transformative for the young people and community. @SouthwarkCofE
