We were delighted to invite runners from Sri Chimnoy Oneness Home Peace Run for an inspirational and engaging Collective Worship. Our guests engaged our children and staff in a number of activities which focused on the importance of peace - one of our school's Christian values!

A wonderful Harvest Service at St Mary's Church this morning. Thank you to all those who could join us, as well as those who kindly donated - all items will be passed onto the Dover Foodbank.

Pupils contributed, along with St Mary's Church and Little Lambs Toddler Group, to the art-work display at the Parish Centre, St Mary's Church, for this year's Flower Festival -it truly was a collaborative effort and a huge success. @st_marys_dover
We celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee today by completing a range of enrichment activities and dressing up in red, white and blue! Well done for all the support shownπ¬π§
There were lots of smiley faces on the gate at dismissal time today as the children left with their free commemorative Platinum Jubilee Book - happy home reading!
To celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, the School Council took part in the Woodland Trust Queen's Canopy Project and planted trees at Connaught Park. They were joined by Councillor Richardson and Liz Fisher (Chair of Governors) for this historic moment! Great job!
We were delighted to have Bishop Rose Hudson-Wilkin and Mr Quentin Roper (Director of Education, Diocese of Canterbury) in school today. Bishop Rose inspired us all with her words of wisdom, making links to our school's Christian values in Collective Worship and class sessions.
Last chance to return ticket stubs and monies for our Easter Hamper Raffle is end of day Monday 28th March. Ask at the school office if you need more tickets. Funds raised will go towards new reading books for each class.
Pupils and staff raised money for Ukraine through the Disasters Emergency Committee by selling cakes and wearing something yellow/blue. I thank the kindness and generosity shown by so many of our school community.

After participating in a 'Diocese Virtual Canterbury Cathedral Celebration, Class 6 were inspired to create their own stained-glass windows, reflecting upon the purpose and meaning of different symbols linked to Salvation and Peace - a real 'Wow' moment in school! @CburyCathedral
