The Government has issued a statement on the TfL funding deal which, in keeping with the highly political way they conducted these negotiations, is at best misleading.
⬇️ I want to set the record straight:
https://t.co/i2PQPeoPvQ
➡️ Londoners must work from home where possible to protect key workers who need to travel
➡️ If you have to go to work, don’t travel at rush hour
➡️ We cannot run more services due to numbers of TfL staff off sick or self isolating

With Easter weekend approaching, and good weather predicted, remember our network is only for critical workers making absolutely essential journeys.
Our message is simple: stay at home, don’t travel, save lives.

⚠️ Anyone can get it.
⚠️ Anyone can spread it.
⚠️ Don't take the risk - stay at home unless it’s absolutely necessary to go outside.

Londoners, if you can help with this please do (and then RT):

“I’ve called on the Government to publish their exit strategy.”
@keir_starmer tells @Peston that he’s not concerned by the precise timing, but rather the strategy behind a potential exit from this lockdown. Watch the full interview at 1045PM #peston

How does @wandbc think it can manage and maintain a complex sprinkler system when it can’t even get the basics right. A fundamental failure to protect the most important room in a high rise block - the stairwell. #protectTheStairwell
THREAD: 3 years we've been slogging away with @wandbc to get a barrier reinstated after a council bin man reversed into and destroyed the old one. Within a month it's broken! THREE YEARS. It has been positioned too near the curb and likely not deep enough.
NEWS FLASH - we have won against @wandbc at the First Teir Property Tribunal. WBC case for a blanket decision to install #sprinklers been struck out! More to follow. Thanks to everyone who has helped this far. Sanity has been restored for time being. 🙏
