As $xtz reaches all time low against BTC, I’m more bullish than ever, but also wonder how this event could have been prevented.

Some thoughts on the positives and negatives on Tezos during 2020:

Positives:

A couple of quick wins could be:

- Requesting Bitrefill to add support for Tezos wallets. Bitrefill already supports many EVM/Solana/Cosmos chains, but not Tezos.
- Enabling Tezos USDT transactions on Trust Wallet. USDT is available on many ecosystems, but not yet on Tezos.

Regarding Tezos/Etherlink:

(1/3) I'm impressed by how USDT on Tron has been gaining traction. It's no surprise, given its wide availability across web3 ecosystems. As more people discuss Tron's USDT volume, it further legitimizes Tron.

In Q2 '20, USDT on TRON had a settlement volume of $25.2 billion.

In Q2 '24, that same figure was $1.25 trillion.

2/3: I've heard from a handful of people on X that USDT on Tron is popular in many African countries — have never heard them mention Tezos ever, though! While Baanx on @etherlink might boost Tezos' volume, I wish Tezos/@TezosFoundation would focus on increasing USDT adoption.
