The results of the first survey are genuinely interesting!

48% of participants said they already own stocks through a traditional broker, while 35% said they own tokenized stocks onchain. Another 17% had never owned a stock before answering our survey.

That last number is probably the most interesting one to us: around 17% of the people who interacted with Stock Faucet became stock owners for the first time through the experience.

We also asked what stops people from buying more stocks. The biggest answer was fees and minimums (57%), followed by paperwork and KYC requirements (22%).

And when asked where they would put $100 today, NVDA was the clear favorite, chosen by 56% of respondents, followed by TSLA at 23%.

These are still early numbers, but this is exactly what we wanted to test with Stock Faucet.

Companies and research firms already spend a significant amount of money collecting information about consumer sentiment, purchasing behavior and brand perception. The data can be anonymized and aggregated, then sold or exchanged with partner projects as market intelligence, with part of the resulting value going back to the people who contributed it.
