What better way to spend a driech Sat afternoon but baking a friend's 30th birthday cakes! May not get a Hollywood handshake but hopefully they will taste OK! 4 different tiers for the adults and a hedgehog for the kids π
Happy World Teachers Day! Enjoying participating in an excellent Rights Respecting Conference - much food for thought to support us on our Silver Journey - thank you! @MaxineJolly1 @UNCRC@cmclennan2@laurencefindlay
Don't you just love it when you're just about to go to bed early to read and No 2 daughter phones you from the Busted concert so you can song along!! ππ
Great to be able to be back together again with all the HTs in Aberdeenshire after such a long time. Good to rekindle old friendships, make new ones, meet people who we have only met sitting at a screen and say goodbye to Mr Docherty in style!!
Wee fundraising walk this morning at Glentanar with No 2 daughter @KatStoddart for Aberdeen Mountain Rescue. Very well organised π
Good to have a surprise catch up with some education colleagues too. #aberdeenmountainrescue
This origami lark is quite addictive .... once you fathom out how all the folds work! Very therapeutic as well. Now I just have to work out how to display them.
A bit damp this afternoon so trying to master origami again between the showers for a new school display. This kit is supposed to be for 7-12 year olds! Well seen I am no longer in that age bracket as I am struggling with some of the folds!π€£πππ€·ββοΈ
Next lot of cakes and cookies baked this evening as a thankyou to my staff for all their hard work this year. They look quite nice in their cake boxes, even if I say so myself! #thankyou#appreciation
Lovely retiral afternoon tea for Rev Frank Ribbons from Aboybe and Tarland. A lot of work went into preparing but we gave everyone the "wow" factor! The hall looked amazing and my granny's teaset got another airing . The sheep cupcakes were well received!
