Households in Glasgow could go six weeks with no bin collections due to the councils festive schedule.
Due to staff shortages, refuse workers have been told to prioritise tenements and flats in the city.
Both residents and workers have vocalised their upset with the timetable over Christmas - with fears it could result in a rat epidemic.
