@rycli04@zoobert_@shivlestat Production timetable was long, but after S1's accolades, the suits trusted Mike White's creative process. The butt stuff interaction between the Mossbacher dad & Armond still lives in my head rent free - I LOL'd. The show is a hypnotic mix of funny & weird, often beautifully shot
@rycli04@zoobert_@shivlestat It's an ensemble piece, featuring over 20 actors with names & speaking parts. Add to that shoots & reshoots, improvised takes, a lot of subplots & interactions that didn't make the final cut - after judicious editing. Crew worked around Inclement weather & sweltering heat.
@DONTBLAMECHAR The butt stuff convo between the Mossbacher dad Mark (Steve Zahn) + Armond (Murray Bartlett.) And then the wink the next meeting. Hands down the funniest scene in all 3 seasons! Perfect comic timing & genius writing.
@BeckyJohnson222@Variety He never had a downfall post-Dune IMHO. Mulholland Dr. is still regarded as one of the Top 10 greatest films of the 21st century, made for a measly $15M. Instantly shot the perfectly cast Naomi Watts from relative unknown to A-List overnight.
@The_777_lioness@StephenPunwasi It's sad that my $200 Ring system is more sophisticated & has more security checks + balances than an industrial kitchen setup from a corporation with pockets as deep as Walmart. The oven should not turn on with any human still inside of it. Period.
@hoy59150 @JohnWilliamCal3 100% young him, with a less developed jaw. End of vid you can see it's the same hairline, eyebrows, nose shape, lips & chin from his arrest warrant pic. And both of them are from Baltimore!
