Genuary 2024
It's that time of year again🙌The month of January is one of the best times to discover stacks of fresh generative art every day and, if you're a generative artist, it's an opportunity to stretch your skills and imagination.
Everything you need to know👇
This year marks the fourth year of a creative annual event organized by @piterpasma where generative artists are given daily prompts for a full month to guide them in 31 unique directions. What a fun way to get out of the box and start a new year exploring a wide variety of techniques.
Keep up on this year's posts through tags such as and #genuary2024, #genuary for a general search, and see specific previous years' works starting with #genuary2021.
You can also find specific daily prompts with tags for each day of the month👇

“A man is not dead while his name is still spoken."
When passing a message down the clacks, a ‘G’ means the message must be passed on, ‘N’ that it is not logged, and ‘U’ that the message will be turned around at the end of the line.

Last week, a Redditor fine-tuned an AI image model on the work of one illustrator, sparking a debate about the ethics of reproducing a living artist's style. I talked to that artist to see how she felt about it, and the person who made it. https://t.co/yzwpdpEPkt
my additional take on this: do not generate code in CI/CD pipelines (but sometimes you have no choice and pinning the generation tools version and its dependencies is the only option)
💯
I had to help with a couple of "omg live is broken" bugs recently, and they were all because of differences between dev/preview/live builds. Every difference you add introduces risk.
