The out-of-touch Prime Minister claimed the average family will spend $10,000 a year on groceries, only $800 a month.

He obviously hasn't been to a grocery store recently or isn't reading the right script because ​according to Canada’s Food Price Report 2026, a family of four is projected to spend $17,572 on food this year.

While this government touts numbers well below the national averages to justify their $3.2B recycled failed policy, the media is censoring any criticism in their coverage of Carney‘s grocery price illusion.

OKOTOKS, AB — A 35-year-old Okotoks man has been charged after investigators allegedly discovered more than 500,000 child sexual abuse and exploitation files during a search of a residence. Police say the seizure is among the largest ever made by ALERT's Internet Child Exploitation Unit.

CALGARY, ALBERTA - On April 30, 2026, Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams' (ALERT) Internet Child Exploitation Unit and Calgary Police Service arrested Jordan Randall Bonner, 46, a Calgary criminal defence lawyer, executing search warrants at both his home and law office. The investigation began in December 2025 following a referral from the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children. Bonner is alleged to have engaged in sexually explicit online conversations with multiple children between the ages of 11 and 15 using the Snapchat usernames "jrcbonner," "whydoyoucare197," and "daddysboi10." Forensic analysis of seized computers and electronic devices is ongoing.

Bonner faces nine charges including:

❌ Child Luring
❌ Making Child Sexual Abuse Materials
❌ Distributing Child Sexual Abuse Materials
❌ Possessing Child Sexual Abuse Materials
❌ Accessing Child Sexual Abuse Materials
❌ Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm (x2)
❌ Careless Storage of a Firearm

As conditions of bail, Bonner is prohibited from accessing social media and must stay away from areas frequented by children. In a separate and unrelated matter, Bonner was also charged with Criminal Harassment in November 2025 for allegedly threatening a Calgary police officer online. Anyone with information is asked to contact ALERT's ICE unit.
