“Using it’s slavery-funded endowment as collateral, the university began taking out a series of bank loans against the Douglas land to fund its operations” … it is sad to me that this is the foundation of the school. #AuburnWorldHistory
@c8lin_ranheim I really found this statement to be really interesting and really important. Music is music and it’s sad people can’t appreciate it for what it is because of homophobia #AuburnWorldHistory
@Logandurham16 I think it’s always a bad thing people suffering this kind of trauma and alienation. We can still see the effects today. #AuburnWorldHistory
@JohnCoxAuburnWH It is so sad to me to think of this, but it is happening today before our eyes. Makes me want to do all I can to help. It also makes me disappointed in our government for doing nothing. #AuburnWorldHistory
@Jprogers01 This is crazy to think that the world may have been so different today if things went differently and choices concerning bombs were made. #AuburnWorldHistory
“The vast majority of Palestinian refugees were never naturalized, instead place in one of the dozen UNRWA-operated camps in Lebanon, where they continue to live to this day” #AuburnWorldHistory
“It felt like the world ended.” - Reading this woman talk about her experiences cant’t help but make me think of the people in Afghanistan and Ukraine right now. #AuburnWorldHistory
Even though this movie was meant to be satire, it’s very believable. It was very interesting to see the development and how the characters thought of the Russians. #AuburnWorldHistory
