@wallenius_brian The "LapPacker" is someone else's design. My design is just a one-off that I wanted to try. I'm sure someone with injection molding or 3-D printing skills could make something not so labor intensive. Cutting, shaping, and finishing walnut looks great, but takes a while.

@wallenius_brian I decided to use the Backpacker for "Nashville" tuning. Turns out the Les Paul radius of curvature was about the same, so I used some spare walnut to make the body. Also radiused the flat finger board and refretted. Still haven't recorded with it. Followed back.
