If wondering what % of the dividend is ROC (Return of Capital), it is 96.86%.

5 year old explanation: They just returned your money to you cause they didn't generate enough income from their trades.

Long term this is an issue, every once in awhile not a big deal.

I think the overall demand for the call contracts from 4 different CC Strats is hurting things a bit. Keeps downward pressure on the moves higher. The more people piled in the slower the growth could go. We just need that 1 month from BTC of 10-15% jump and we forget everything else.

The average has always been between 7-9% of NAV with your outlier months.

This was expected to be an outlier month with the way the IV crumbled down over the month.

Numbers still working well, decline or sideways action leads to less for month.

1.2382 per share.

Higher than I honestly expected. The IV has dropped.

Worried for long term? No. I have a feeling the crypto winter for BTC has been replaced with consolidation.

We are at corporation adoption of BTC as a safe haven asset. You have companies buying to hold now and not just trading.

Therefore the VOL suffers while we wait for a push but the declines we saw in the past likely won't come.

So how will Yieldmax navigate the waters for MSTY. If you tell me I get 1.23 per share while the IV is cut in half, I am holding it.

$MSTY Fundamental Change?

MSTR selling off not due to ATM but trust erosion based on not showing proof of purchase.

We all have seen MSTR and watched it trade just like BTC. The ups and downs, sideways, and moon shots.

Many expected MSTR to be much higher with BTC at ATH, because they own more bitcoin now. This crowd has grown a little quieter recently.

So the question is does this new distrust, mixed with competitors, fundamentally change the outlook for MSTR, and thereby MSTY?

OR...

Is this just a gift for stacking more shares at a cheaper price?

I believe at this stage the FUD around proof of purchase is likely brought on by competitors. While in the long run it doesn't benefit anyone else's stack to see MSTR head lower. However business is business and many feel the need to compete, so why not try to sow division with an already jumpy investor crowd.

We all expected to be counting a nice chunk of change for JUNE distribution, with BTC at ATH and sticking. Can still happen with 1 week to go. But long term, some sorta of news is going to be needed from MSTR to satisfy the naysayers. If/when that comes, the omega level candles that could be printed on the catch up will be a welcome sight.
