Veteran Viacheslav Kutin proposed to his girlfriend on the day of his discharge from the rehabilitation center.

During a mission in the Zaporizhzhia direction, the 29-year-old soldier lost both legs - he covered a grenade with his legs to save his brothers-in-arms. Viacheslav spent 13 months in captivity and returned to Ukraine in January 2025. Then, he started to undergo rehabilitation in the Superhumans center.

Viacheslav shares he and Anna met online in 2022 and did not even plan a relationship at first. During rehabilitation sessions, he learned to get down on one knee to propose because he wanted to prepare for this important moment.

Viacheslav was very nervous when he proposed. But he got the answer he hoped for.
