As much as we hate to close the rink. The weather has forced our hand. The rink will be closed until further notice as of tonight. While it is closed, it is critical that the community stays off the ice. With your co-operation, we can reopen sooner and stay open for longer!

Stonecrest Rink is now open for skaters! Ice conditions are fair. Please use caution near the boards as they are a bit bumpy at the moment and remember to scrape the ice when you are done. A huge shoutout to the ice team. The rink couldn't happen without them! Happy Skating!

Happy to report that the puddle rink is officially open for skaters! The ice is good and so is the weather so head on down to scratch that skating itch! Our Main rink, although really close to opening is not quite ready yet. Please keep off the ice so we can get it open asap!

Hello Barrhaven! Happy to finally report that work on my ice will finally begin with a solid cold snap coming tomorrow afternoon. A friendly reminder that it can take up to 7 days for ice to be safe to skate on and as soon as the ice is ready your trusty rink will let you know!

1/2 Heads up! My Team will be out this evening to do the final flood for the year. It's been a fabulous season overall with very few interruptions during the main season. Hockey also was able to make a return in the middle of February

2/3 however, all good things must come to an end... The FINAL skating day will be this SUNDAY and the rink will be CLOSED for the season as of 11PM on Sunday due to the warm weather next week. Until then come on down and get one last skate in until next December!

@weathernetwork 2/Ice maestar @Mattman018 believes I can make it to this Sunday and hopes people come out and enjoy my ice! Unfortunately, the puddle did not fair so well and is closed for the year. Once the weather is more set it stone I'll let you know when the final day is!

1/I'm still alive incase you're wondering! gave me a fresh coat of ice! It's bumpy in the end towards the school but should otherwise be good. If the weather holds the unofficial last day will be this Sunday!
