We need to talk. Here’s a travel story that should NOT have happened.

I was on DL 1753 from St. Kitts to ATL on 6/15 after a work trip. The flight was on time—until we got to Atlanta & circled for a while. Due to storms, we were diverted to Charleston. Continued

Rebooking was a nightmare because they REFUSED to work with other airlines! I cab't believe this is how it is supposed to go.

I have now been awake for 27h hours as I wait for my connection. Hopefully I will be home this afternoon.

Eventually we were told that a new crew was being flown in from ATL because ours had timed out.

We were told: Customs in ATL would be closed by the time we got there, so we were told to deplane in Charleston, go through customs there, re-clear TSA, then reboard the same plane.

Totally understand and appreciate the safety call.

But that’s where the mess began.

We landed in Charleston and then sat on the plane for over 3 hours, getting a string of conflicting updates from the captain and crew—who were clearly just as frustrated as we were. Continued
