Today, America wakes 250 years later as a beacon of hope, a republic entrusted to its people, an idea that changed the world.
A nation worth preserving. A dream worth pursuing. A freedom defended by every generation.
Happy 250th, America! 🇺🇸
You know how PepsiCo lowered the price of Lays products after RFK Jr. decided you can't use SNAP to buy them? The prices weren't high because it just costs so much to slice up and fry a potato. It was because they didn't care whether or not you could afford it because the people eating them were those getting it paid for by your tax dollars. When that was no longer a viable business model, they had to start pricing competitively again. You know, the way a free market is supposed to work.
The same logic applies to healthcare and universities. These corporations get their money from the government via people who are subsidized by the government. That's why college tuition has increased at three times the rate of inflation since the 1970s, and prescription drugs somehow cost less when you don't use insurance to pay for them (even private insurers get money from the government).
If you've ever wondered why TVs are among the only things that have gotten cheaper over the past ten years, that's why. The government doesn't buy TVs for people, so TV manufacturers actually have to care if consumers can afford them and must compete with each other on price.
So what will happen when everyone loses their jobs to AI and no one has any money? Don't worry, Big Daddy Government will give them your tax dollars. And when those run out, they'll just print money and devalue what little you still have. But as far as they're concerned, that's your problem.
This is like saying if your neighbor sold his car, you could pay your rent. Sure, once. Then it's next month, and his car is gone, and your rent is still due. You didn't solve anything; you just spent someone else's stuff and called it a policy.
People deserve better leadership
“This is such an insult to America”
America was built by genuine lunatics who risked death to cross oceans and chart frontiers.
Americans went to the moon with 1960s technology and aluminum foil.
Yes, the ethos of this country is inherently kind of insane, crazy, and ridiculous.
Like that Japanese guy said, Americans are stupid and genius at the same time.
That’s what makes America great.
Dirt bikes doing jumps in front of the White House is a way more authentic expression of the American spirit than anything leftists have ever done.
You can literally hear Free Bird playing in your head watching this video.
People who hate America sneer at it because they hate what it represents.
This is the unhinged, ridiculous, insane, delusional, unconquerable American spirit that they want to conquer but can’t.
History's first trillionaire is a guy who catches rockets out of the sky with chopsticks and beams internet to every dead zone on the planet.
Same guy ships cars that drive themselves, humanoid robots for the factory floor, brain chips that let paralyzed people move a cursor with pure thought, and an AI running on a supercomputer his team stood up in months instead of years.
And the people crashing out about his net worth are doing it on the app he owns. The same app governments spent years trying to censor.
You cannot legislate a rocket into orbit.
BRUTAL: Stephen A. Smith just told Democrats to “SHUT UP” and stop “bitching” about voter ID.
“You should have a damn ID [to vote]. You need an ID for every damn thing else.”
“And to the progressive left, shut the hell up!”
“You got a mayor in New York City that required TWO IDs for you to shovel snow.”
“You ain’t in no position to be bitching about how [Trump] wants IDs and the GOP wants IDs for votes. Shut up! Nobody wants to hear that.”
As long as they’re counting ballots after Election Day in California, it only means one thing: Spencer Pratt and Steve Hilton are out of the runoffs for LA Mayor and Governor.
In fact, Gavin Newsom confirmed it just two weeks ago.
When asked about the possibility of ending up with two Republican candidates for governor and no Democrats, he said:
We will have to topple the state government of California, and that is exactly what the Democrats are going to do.
“We all have agencies. We can shape the future. I don’t anticipate this being the case, but there is a ‘break the glass scenario.’ There are many people who have a deep understanding of what it would look like if Democrats were locked out, and we’re going to do everything to make sure that doesn’t happen. I’ll leave it there.”
The irony is that nearly every industry listed is heavily regulated, subsidized, licensed, or politically manipulated already.
Education, healthcare, housing, and food became more expensive alongside more government intervention, not less.
Then every consequence gets blamed on “capitalism” as if capitalism means “anything expensive.”
Hilarious how AOC goes from “the founding fathers were white supremacist slave owners and we must tear down their statues” to “the founding fathers were backwoods working class socialist revolutionaries sniping billionaires” depending on the agenda she’s pushing on any given day.
This sounds cool. But wait.
400 diapers will last a family with a newborn approximately five weeks.
The program will cost the state approx. $12.4 million this year alone.
That money will be funneled through a company called Baby2Baby, which will then provide their branded diapers to 400 participating in hospitals (California has over 500 hospitals in total.)
Meaning that instead of lowering taxes and letting families keep their own money to buy essentials like diapers, California takes their money, pumps it through a “nonprofit” that has overhead and whose CEO made $240,000 in 2024, to provide a “free” service available only in certain locations, and that you could have bought yourself for much cheaper.
