Floods again inundated the Pidie Jaya Regency (Pidie Jaya), Aceh, Wednesday (24/12) evening, due to heavy rain that poured down non-stop, since Tuesday (23/12) evening. The overflowing river water impacted four sub-districts and 22 villages. Flooding was reported in the districts of Meurah Dua, Meureudu, Bandar Dua, and Panteraja. In Meurah Dua district, the river overflowed and inundated eight villages, including Dayah Usen, Mancang, Dayah Kruet, Meunasah Raya, Blang Cut, Buangan, and Beuringen. Meanwhile, in Meureudu district, floods inundated four villages, namely Berawang, Meunasah Lhok, Grong-Grong Beracan, and the Tuha-Lhokga Mosque.
