OFG Viewer Shannon messaged me to say he lost the use of one side of his body via a stroke. He said my videos were his motivation to fight to get it back to ride again and asked if he could meet me and ride when he ready. We met and rode and Shannon is still my hero to this day.
Eddie Fiola loves to hear himself say Stoney McGee. He kind of sings it and it cracks me up every single time. “STON-ey McGEEEEEEE”. He opened up so many doors for me that I never could have myself. Every sport needs an Eddie Fiola. Amazing guy.
In 2021 RL Osborn invited me to be on his merch promotional team for BMX Action Magazine. Every part of that will always be insane awesome to me. The project ran its course and everything sold out almost instantly. I wish I could tell teenage me that would happen one day.
Dustin Reese says that I made him famous. I say it was going to happen regardless of who filmed him, it just happened to be me. We have brotherly “arguments” about it pretty often. Dude is a legit legend.
In 2020, The Ride staring Ludicrous was going to hit theaters. Woman’s BMX was debuting in the Olympics. Rad was FINALLY coming to DVD. I was in heated discussions for an OFG Reality Show. BMX was about to hit heights not seen since the 80s…and then Covid put an end to it all.
Before the lawsuits started, WE were hired to work office for NWA-TNA wrestling. I believe they were still on Spike TV at the time. It was a messy divorce and the company folded before I could actually start. I fixed it @MikeBelcaster 😘
Elizabeth Belcaster was the first person to make me aware of my potential, just how important it is to always keep my eyes open for opportunity and how to work the room. I can't say enough good things about incredible woman or her amazing family.
We hung out with Marilyn Manson in his dressing room after his concert. The walls were covered from floor to ceiling with garbage bags and he was listening to Justin Timberlake. There was drinking and things that I can't post about.
I had a wrestling match with CM Punk. I went bike riding with Cru Jones. I sang on stage with ICP and Smashing Pumpkins. I smoked with the winners of the Cannabis Cup and Dave Chapelle. My life has had some insane cameo appearances.
When I met America's Got Talent finalist Matt Wilhelm, I went to introduce myself. I said hi Matt and his response was "Hey Stoney". Totally knew what I did and who I was. I had similar experience with Eddie Fiola's publicist and RL Osborn. Nuts, right?
Joe Cicman is my creative writing partner. Through him I was cast on Eddie Fiola's Fact or Freestyle where I became friends with some of the biggest names in the industry. Never saw that coming.
I was cast on Billy Corgans reality show in 2014. Tier 1 was Billy and The Barrons. Me, Tommy and Mike were tier 2, and everyone else was tier 3. The show never aired but I kept most of the contacts that I made.
Bill Allen, the star of my favorite movie growing up, became a friend of mine. He even came onto my youtube channel to announce that after 35 years it was finally being released for purchase. He could have done that on way bigger platforms but he did it on mine.
When I was a kid I had a 6ft poster of Dave Nourie on my wall. Now he's a pretty good friend of mine and worked on quite a few video projects with me. That's dope.
I started OFG BMX. I have about 10K followers on combined platforms. I made 70 short films. There are OFG shirts in 5 countries and I hundreds of people all over the globe have told me that they ride bikes because of it.
