@SmallCapSmarts If there are 5000 accounts at a HTB broker, I'm guessing maybe 4000 are $30k. Extrapolating to all existing smallcap short sellers, maybe 75% have accounts sitting in the $30k range.

Discovered a look ahead bias (in an intraday custom indicator) in a backtest I did in December 2025 that I have been trading these last 5 months..
Knew something was off with the returns.. Fortunately the corrected backtest is still good, but it very easily could have been that I invested so much time into a dead end. (or maybe if it was a dead end, I would have found that live trading it led only to losses).
