Why has the American flag become political? This is my first 4th of July in NYC and this morning when I grabbed a coffee, I noticed there are no American flags anywhere. The city isn’t decorated. It felt like a normal day.

It ended up raining and my friends and I had nothing to do so we drove around blasting music and waving the flag out the window for the 4th.

Today of all days that should feel like a normal thing to do, but got some dirty looks. Yikes, America.
