After reading #AtulSubhash’s suicide note, I was so moved that I called and spoke to three different male friends of mine who are facing a similar situation. I mean I knew the situation roughly, but did not know what a procedural nightmare the whole thing was!

The judicial process is corrupt, time-consuming and frustrating. Judges, particularly female judges as are common in family courts, are often without empathy for the men and pressurise the men to ‘settle’ without even hearing the merits of the case.

In all three cases, women have weaponised access to their kids as a means to emotionally blackmail the man, and while I can’t say how good my male friends were as husbands, I can say with a great confidence that all three were great fathers.

It is cruel to withhold access to children from the fathers and the system that enables it as a tactic to pressurise the man is heartless and insensitive. Whatever maybe the other concerns, wherever possible, courts should give joint custody to both parents.

@docbhooshan With rising divorce rates, parental conflict is unavoidable. What is avoidable however (& entirely in the alienator's hands), and what causes even worse consequences, is one parent deleting the other parent from the child's life completely, thereby ensuring #parentalalienation

@aarambhmr It is unfortunate, and most damaging to our children's generation, for #FamilyCourts to not act upon or investigate the possibility of #ParentalAlienation when the child is with the #CustodialParent for a prolonged period of time, which is the very least that should be considered

It is irony tht a child <18 not mature enough to cast a vote but a child of 11-12 years is considered mature enough by Courts to deny access to noncustodian parent as such child do not want wish to meet parent ignoring that child can be victim of #ParentalAlienation
