Just finished watching Owambe Thieves. Wonderful movie.

The producer of the movie had me with the concept. Imagine building a whole business around the profligacy of Nigerians at owambe 😂.

People fit spend millions spraying money and throwing lavish parties just to impress people, seek validation and collect temporary praises, while someone is dying in the hospital because they can’t afford medical bills.

That contrast is crazy.

The movie really made me question what we choose to celebrate in this country. Nothing wrong with enjoyment, but when extravagance becomes a competition while people are struggling, something is wrong.

I no mind becoming Owambe Thief 😂. At least the money fit go where e actually dey needed.

@Neutral_OC I think I should become a police to first understand why they are like this. Is it in the training or orientation, it's probably in the uniform. That power lust is on another level I would never comprehend. In reality they're just pawns for a failed system
