I started posting photos of rainbows as a sign of hope 1 year ago today. The time has come to stop. Hopefully the end of this strange, worrying time is in sight. Keep searching for rainbows, stay hopeful and stay smiling. 🌈😎
I had a think of all the gorgeous rainbow gifts I’ve been sent since I started rainbow spotting as a sign of hope. I don’t even think this is all of them! I’ve loved how friends have started seeing rainbows more. They’ve really cheered up my outlook on life.
A rainbow from a friend today. One of the joys of lockdown has been having time to connect with friends allover the world. The everyday use of video calls makes it easy and normal to chat face to face with everyone even if you are just nextdoor or half a world away. Keep in touch
Mother’s Day weekend-this is your warning children (&husbands) that if you haven’t made a card or bought your mummy flowers you’ve got tomorrow! This 🌈 was on a card my children made me a few years ago- each piece was hidden with clues to find each part. Gorgeous!
4 Rainbows today - 3 sent to me from others around the country & 1 I saw myself, while taking a class for Covid tests this afternoon. Something that wouldn’t have been imagined 12 months ago that now is a normal part of life! Keep going, the tide is turning slowly. Stay hopeful
Feeling quiet this evening within me and around me with my children back at school. Find this verse always calms me. A fabulous friend sent this postcard to me during lockdown - she knows me well! 🌈

Well Done 🙌🏻
1) For getting through the hardest winter months ever
2) Make sure you stop, pause and appreciate how hard it has been
3) For looking after yourself
4) For being kind & patient to yourself & others
5) Everyone on the frontline who is helping us all move forward
Last Sat night before children return to school, remembered I’d used child labour in a bored moment in lockdown to organise my tin cupboard - will always know what I have in there now, & always think of my children when I open cupboard & as it’s a rainbow, it’s always cheerful!
Happy last day of home-learning to everyone! Monday sees the start of a new stage of our current journey. Good luck to everyone. Stay positive, remain hopeful & keep searching for those rainbows. 🌈 #BackToSchool#lockdownrainbows#homelearning#hope#positivity
As we begin to hope that lockdown may be ending, we may be allowed out to socialise with each other again, it’s time to brighten up my wardrobe. A quick search shows you can wear rainbows from head to toe! Not convinced I’ll go that far, but a little colour is good for the soul!
A new month, start of meteorological Spring. The weather certainly seems to imply summer is around the corner, but not quite yet. As with Covid, we must keep following the rules for a bit longer & then when summer comes, life will be wonderful! Be patient. Keep on keeping on. 🌈
What a difference the sunshine makes - gorgeous end to another month in lockdown. As we start a new month, the future certainly seems brighter and of one thing we can be sure, spring and summer are on their way.

Not convinced about an actual rainbow tattoo but fun to play with temporary ones. Life is easier when the sun is shining &rainbows are everywhere. Amazing weather currently-let’s hope we have a gorgeous summer when our freedoms should be back. Until then hang in there &stay home!
