@CarolineDeight2 Had a similar set up with 6 characters (I know)! Drafted all the storylines at once because it was important they were doing things simultaneously. Otherwise, I'd have written each one separately. But when I edited, I did each character in turn. Hope that helps.

@AuthorGoodwin Read the classics of the genre you're writing in. If your genre is literary fiction then some knowledge of modern classics is in order. (If your genre is historical fiction, better read history especially social and cultural history.)
