It's an interesting energetic relationship between doing, being, and thinking. You can be and do at the same time, but you cannot be and think at the same time
This sounds nice, and certainly holds up for my case of N=1.
And it’s certainly optimistic, which carries its own value.
But at scale, objectively, is this law true? What evolutionary upgrades have we had in the past 250 years? That too small a timeline? Or too small of a technological progress compared to what we face today?
Or maybe you are right, and as a collective consciousness, we have evolved.
I see it as a failure to remove yourself from the equation.
It's holding onto a narrative that machines will replace *you*, and so you compare AI to yourself, which it is obviously not, and knock it down on that basis.
Unable to see that it is a really, really good logic-based tool, that will only get better, soon surpassing our logical-based capabilities, if it hasn't already...
What I don’t know yet, is to what extent communication skills can have an impact? Obviously some. But enough to pierce the mind of anyone at will? I don’t know… (without addressing whether I even care to in the first place or the ethical side of the question)
Speaking to someone who takes words for truth, rather than symbols (that try to depict said truth), feels like spinning in circles. Allows immediately rebutting with some logic-based argument instead of taking a moment to listen to what was not said
Things I've observed while making a fire:
- Starting is the hardest part
- You have to nurture whatever little momentum you gain
- You can't put the biggest log on first. You have to build progressively
- You have to add the right piece at the right time, but there is leeway. If its not perfect, you can still make it work
- The center of the fire is its lifeblood. It's health determines its longevity
- You have to let the fire breath. Too much wood and you will suffocate it
- Once you reach a certain point, you have a decision to make, keep growing, or maintain
- If you choose to keep growing, it will consume more and more wood
- A log in a large fire gets burned through very quickly.
- A large fire is more fun and more warm. But requires constant upkeep and more wood
- Maintaining a fire allows you to shift your attention elsewhere, requiring only an addition log every so often.
- You cannot completely walk away from a fire, for the risk that it will catch something else on fire
- Letting a fire die out requires care, as to not be left with any half burned logs
The darkness of our world is overwhelming.
Most humans have fallen into vanity and disrepair. The degree to which man can no longer hear the voice of his own conscience has surpassed its threshold.
A sign for someone doing life right in this modern age is their ability to commandeer virgin energy into being.
No one creates - most things are dead, lifeless, replicas of replicas. The lives of most people are lived as if they were a shadow of a shadow.
An endless and senseless repeat, reenactment of mass psychosis programming, similar conflicts carried out by different faces - yet somehow still the same.
Those able to shut out the noise and make space for the new - they are the unlikely builders of whatever comes next.
When you are busy, my friend, fighting the wars of others, draining your attention and energy into politics or conflicts that largely do not matter on the cosmic arena - you rob yourself of your most important function.
The function to create.
If you are not creating, then you are probably wasting time - and creating for someone else.
How to begin creating? By co-creating.
If you can join me, and others like me, to create beauty where you are - and to share it with the world - you are making space for the new to wash away the old.
The primary goal of any shocking news or information is not to deceive you, but to keep you in a state of constant anticipation - to convince you that something big is coming, yet nothing ever really happens - does it?
The end goal for these operations remain the same - to keep you from *creating*, to force you to remain reactive to the movements of others, so that they may dictate the many fates of this world.
Un-attention anything you want out of your reality. Starve it of your energy, and it will disappear like last winter's snow.
Attention is the currency of creation.
Never forget this.
@CEOLandshark There is a place for the intellectual knowledge though. Where books come into play. You gain data points so that when you gain the experience, you can contextualize it. You aren’t placed in a completely unknown situation
@CEOLandshark Fallen into this trap many many times. When you eventually do gain the experience, you learn that the true knowledge is much more visceral and profound than the intellectual version
@CEOLandshark There’s something very intrinsic about them pertaining to achieving harmony in the material world. And I agree, life does express itself through them, but its origin, consciousness, stems a level deeper
@CEOLandshark True energy healing. Only way I know of to truly one-shot problems (stemming from energy distortions) permanently. Technique where you decide to heal the underlying energetic root cause which is causing you to feel 'x' sort of way, and afterwards, the problem is gone. Vanished.
On the importance of Faith and God:
Only high morality & righteousness can stand against the coming dark - against premeditated, deliberate, planned deceptions whose depravity knows no bound, to which there is no end when it comes to unconscionable behaviour.
It is righteousness and a higher ideal that unites the common man and woman with the other, that shared commonality and strive towards goodness, chivalry, knighthood and valour.
It is the greatest sacred society that exists upon this world.
God needs no secret network, no spies, no infiltrators, no imposters, no industry plants. God is the ideal that connects all those who are on the narrow path of goodness with one another.
What is my religion?
My religion is goodness, beauty, acceptance - but also strength, power, protection - and merciful, righteous justice.
This phaenomenon of the soul, this higher morality is the literal shield, the bulwark that can empower even the most isolated character and bring him into strength, pull him out of his darkest moments, when he is besieged by the temptations of the world and the wrongdoing of those who deliberately seek to destroy it and upend its dignity.
This is why mankind must strive to unify itself under a singular banner, as the deception hidden behind individual freedoms and liberations of all sorts only serve to bring one away from their union with their larger brotherhoods and sisterhoods - their family in spirit and soul.
If you strive to be a decent, good man or woman - then you are part of this secret brotherhood, not by blood, not by contract - but by divine, synchronous decree.
Pray that you will find others like you - and you will. One advocates for these concepts, over and over, and meditates on the importance of a unifying code of honour as its spiritual dogma forms within his mind, and the vision of the grander destiny of our world as shaped exactly by such selfless, righteous living.
Yes - dogma - not as a stale and frozen document through which passivity and idiocy may flourish, but one that serves as a spiritual fundament and tradition in which men of many kinds are to be united - under one movement.
This cannot be a race-based movement, it cannot be a national movement, and it cannot be a strictly religious movement.
This movement will only move and cover the world if it is a movement based on faith, higher morality and the values of innocence, purity, cleanliness, love, compassion, power and inner strength - and a principled stance against deception, manipulation, tyranny and greed.
Only such a movement could ever hold the immensity of all of God's children - in all their full colours and emanations, in their beauties and temptations and ordained abilities - united under the banners of dignititious, merciful justice.
The inner fire, that inner spark that pulls you towards virtue and benevolence, whether you understand its wisdom or not, that is the existing root within you that is mutually shared among all of mankind, each and every spirit - an incorruptible desire to make the world a better place. It is as undeniable as the surest coming of the glorious sun above us.
If mankind could only wake from its stupor, if he could, from days of old, take up the boldness to walk that righteous path again - he will find himself blessed with victory and abundance, and many, many friends.
Would you follow me then into those sacred woods, on those narrow pathways - where life is worshipped, and song and dance resound brazenly between the branches, and starlight in the twilight hours leads one not into terror but to shores brighter than the ones we've known?
Do you know that place, in your heart of hearts, as I know it? Do you know the way to that realm of make-believe, or are you lost and stumbling as I am?
Of course you are lost, as mankind is lost in search of himself through the prophetic cycles of the ages - but he may yet wander into that place - when he learns to understand that the garden cannot be found or entered alone, that he needs to make what he believes in through his worldly actions, and believe in what he has yet begun to make.
This is his lesson of greater faith and of belief so hopeless that it seems foolish to even hold, yet one that still lives, somehow, within the hearts of all men - stubborn in its blossoming beauty.
There is no kingdom a single man can conjure, or rule - this is the secret of man's destiny, that he may walk in the grandiose halls of his vision-dreams only within the brilliant embrace of those he cherishes, loves and protects with selfless fervour.
Beyond the secret woods of these our modern lives, cast upon the rocks of that forsaken place are the ideals of old, the greatest and most cherished philosophies - tattooed upon the very surface of the Earth, ingrained within our human natures - the first and most ancient of bibles.
These truths serve as quiet remnants, mementos of the grandest wisdom nature has ever bestowed upon us, its mortal children - that the grief and loneliness of man can only ever be cured with the loneliness of another.
I get what you mean. Nature just is. But I’m curious to know if you have any thoughts on symbols/shapes and energy? For example, in interior design, different rooms give off different vibes. Or do you use shapes to represent archetypes in your furniture design? For this flower example, the flowers just are, but different flowers are given for different occasions. The shape of a rose, even without social preconceptions, invokes romance. All psychology or any energetical significance?
The time of commercial luxury has passed.
Luxury's definition has dramatically changed throughout the course of history. In a way, it's embarked on it's own hero's journey.
Luxury used to be the goods truly reserved for kings and their noble entourage. Handwork and craftsmanship so intricate and full of human creativity that only the mega rich could afford the time it cost.
It was truly the stuff of dreams.
But in the 2nd half of 20th century, big business players realized you could sell the dream without the real stuff. The whole luxury industry became heavily commercialized, and big corporations used the power of the luxury dream to sell to the ever-growing middle class.
Evil as it may seem, I don't see it as a mistake.
It's just part of the journey of waking us up. They had to hit us on the hit us the head to make us question, "hey what was up with that?" And from there we could decipher what luxury truly is. To identify the thing that makes so special.
Commercial luxury is the perfect example of the boy who cried wolf.
A short-term cash grab that eventually the consumer sees right through.
Because luxury is not about the image it portrays.
It is about the human experience that goes into the craft.
The beauty of the creative process.
The human element embedded in the art.
We've experienced the extremes of individualistic thinking, now what?
We now live in an age of information.
At the turn of the industrial revolution and the peak of colonialism, industrialists would out-price and out-compete local artisans and farmers to increase their industrial output. Consumers at the time had no way of knowing what was going on behind the scenes to create those products.
That's just how it was back then. Information and media was heavily controlled by newspapers and publishers, which were owned by private corporations and individuals. It was all very centralized by the elite.
Today that is changed. Media is increasingly decentralized. Though the algorithms are not perfect and there is still some level of censoring, it is leaps and bounds ahead of the controlled narrative that we’ve had for pretty much all of human history.
So we are able to find out what truly goes on behind the scenes.
Where do our products come from?
Who made it?
What lives do they live?
This gives us the choice to either participate in the continued over-industrialization of our world, or to support people creating truly beautiful things
Our world is messy. It’s rocky, things take time, and there’s traps in every corner. But that is the beautiful nature of it—it’s a middle world, somewhere between the depths of hell and the portals of heaven. It sways both ways, and it is up to us to choose which way that is.
There exists a world where everything is beautiful, elegant, and handcrafted by dreamers. The creation of every mundane and trivial object turned into an art. Material so soft, stitching so intricate and shapes of metal so impossibly forged that force the bystander to ask, “are these of this world?”
A world made up of artisans, chefs, bakers, painters, shoemakers, furniture makers, architects, gardeners, all obsessed with pouring their essence into their craft. Each contributing to make the most beauty the world has ever seen.
This world is a fairytale.
Which is precisely why it is so important.
It is a world to strive for. It doesn’t matter if we ever get there—for the act of building it is more than we could ever ask for.
Fragments of that world do exist today and hang on for dear life
