Nick Aldis said that anyone looking to do their research on him should go back and rewatch his match against Cody Rhodes from NWA 70:

“I would say probably the rematch with Cody, NWA 70. The two-out-of-three falls in Nashville. It’s a really complete sort of story, and I thought we worked tremendously hard. The first fall is wrestling, very much wrestling, and then the second fall is sort of brawling out on the floor, and then the third fall is bombs away. Big finishing moves, kick out.

So it’s sort of like you get a little bit of all three, and there’s some angle in there too. There’s some stuff with Kamille and Brandi. There’s a bit of sports entertainment. We have all the luminaries at the beginning. We have Dory Funk and some former champions and stuff like that. So I think the whole thing’s just a sort of fun, really good sort of pro wrestling main event feel to it, and it’s a good commentary too. Tony Schiavone and Jim Cornette are calling it, and I thought that was really good too because they all bounced off each other well. When you have guys like Schiavone and Cornette, it’s always going to take your stuff up another level.”

“Who knows? I think that we’ve already leaned into it from time to time anyway. Again, trying not to speak on Hunter’s behalf. I think his general philosophy, when it comes to that kind of thing, is if you know, you know. So we can’t make it the whole story, but it can be part of a story, which I think has been a healthy approach to his storytelling.

“I think you could say the same for some of the stuff you’ve seen with guys who were in the Bullet Club. There’s nods to it, but you’re making it where you’re completely out of the know if you’re unfamiliar with what they’re referencing.”

Watched #SpiderManBrandNewDay , really clever Marvel film (I am not a huge Marvel fan outside of Spiderman), didn't disappoint. Sadie Sink had such an interesting take on her character. Jon Bernthal brilliant as always. The chemistry between the cast seemed effortless.
