When kids are taught this period in history they are taught in ages e g. Victorian Age - industralisation.

@alanconroy @EmmaKennedy @darrengrimes Just stop. The kids will not be traumatised at all as they aren't by the tale we spin of santa coming into their house when everyone is asleep.
It's santa in a snow globe - it actually looks more magical. My kids were always disappointed by their dept store santa experiences.

@darrengrimes It's santa in a snow globe - it's more magical. Maybe we should take the time to think is it not odd despite teaching our kids of stranger danger, at xmas we encourage our kids to interact with a strange man we don't know just because he has a santa outfit on.
