We continue to encourage and expect students to come forward if they have any information regarding a possible threat to our school. We will always listen and investigate. Thank you for your continued trust & confidence as we work together to ensure a safe learning environment.
In the Osceola School District, we have worked diligently to educate our students, staff, and the community on the importance of saying something if they see or hear something that might put our students or staff at risk.
There were no bullets found, and at no time did the student threaten violence. The student will now face serious consequences from both the school district and law enforcement.
As we celebrate Senior Spirit we (May 18-22) we remain ever so thankful for the health and safety of our students through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, school closures have resulted in the cancellation of many senior activities.
While the district was hopeful that conditions would allow schools to reschedule proms for a later date, current CDC and state and local recommendations still prevent holding large group gatherings that do not allow for social distancing.
The CHS Theatre Department opens Mamma Mia next week. Show dates are Feb. 21, 22, 28, & 29 @ 7 pm and Feb 23 and March 1 @ 3 pm. Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. Students can buy a reduced priced ticket at lunch.
Come out Friday, November 1st at 7 pm or Sunday, November 3rd at 3 pm to watch Off Book’s production of Silent Sky. Tickets are $10, but students can purchase advance tickets for half price at lunch this week.
