This is not political.

An ICU nurse at a VA was surrounded by 8 men wearing masking and carrying weapons. He was held down by 5 of them, while one pistol whipped him in the head several times. Afterward, they unloaded a mag into his back. His last words were, "are you okay?" which was said to a women who was getting pepper sprayed by ICE. I genuinely do not understand how anyone can defend these actions. This isn't political; this is about basic human fucking rights. Human lives are being lost for no real reason. "What about the illegals?" Who cares. Just because you didn't go through the proper channels to be given citizenship doesn't mean you should be killed. In the 4th, 5th, and 14th amendment, we have something called "Due Process," which means regardless of your crimes and regardless of your status, you will be charged in a court of law in the proper way, the same way as anyone else. In actual police and even military, you are trained to attempt to defuse the situation multiples times before even brandishing a firearm. This very country was founded on "give me liberty or give me death." Our rights as humans and as Americans are being trampled on and ignored. If you support these untrained, over-zealous, undereducated murderers, then you are less than scum.

I do no care if I lose followers because of this. I do not care if I lose friends because of this. I will stand by what I know to be right and just.

We are currently living in an Orwellian nightmare, so I will leave this with a quote from George Orwell himself.
