@novicefilly Very best wishes to your sister. Asthma is a frightening condition to live with - it can strike very suddenly and lethally and I live in fear of it, unable to be away from “grabbing distance” of an inhaler. Wishing Amanda a rapid and complete recovery.

@ShoppeKeeperCat @novicefilly The old parade and pre-parade rings were beautiful. Ascot’s course layout is not conducive to good race viewing. And now the entrances to the steps are lined with bars. As the day progresses the alcohol casualties mount up. Royal Ascot, in particular, is a Bachannal.
