If one brain ends up controlling thousands of different machines, the safety layer can't just be about what the model is capable of, it has to cover what each individual robot is cleared to do right now. That is a per-unit authorization question, and it needs a record that is checkable independently of the company running the brain.
1,250 hours is small enough that it's really a claim about a small set of operators and sites, not the robot. Trusting unsupervised deployment means trusting that specific coverage, so it should be a checkable record tied to the actual units and environments, not just a headline number in a deck.
@Rinai201 The part worth watching: a software update changes what the robot is allowed to do just as much as training changes a new hire, but nobody signs off on it the way a hire gets onboarded. Cheaper to update also needs to mean cheaper to verify, not just cheaper to deploy.
@togetherwithy0u This maps well onto authorization too. The Dashboard gives control, but who's allowed to use that channel right now, and can that be checked after the fact instead of just assumed from a valid login.
@therustoracle If the skill is really a recorded human demonstration, authorization gets more complicated too. It is not just who owns the robot, it is whose motion is inside the model and what that model is currently cleared to run in production. That needs a record, not a claim.
@Humanoidguide Permits and kill switches are the blunt version of the real question: what is this robot authorized to do right now, and who can check that after the fact. An on-chain, tamper resistant authorization record beats a filing that's checked once and forgotten.
And the results are out for the Autumn cohort of #BGAIncubation 2026 🍂!
Congratulations to our next batch of incubatees, builders using #blockchain to solve real problems, from humanitarian payments to machine trust to supply-chain transparency.
@HumLinked | @StormcatchToken | @wholechain
Over the next few months, we're looking forward to helping them turn proof into scale, and scale into global impact.
To our 2026 Autumn cohort, a warm welcome to the Alliance 🌐
🎉 HUGE news from @StormcatchToken 🎉
We've been selected for the Blockchain for Good Alliance (@ChainforGood) Autumn 2026 Incubation Programme, and we could not be more excited! 🚀
As autonomous machines and robotics move deeper into daily life, trust becomes infrastructure. At Stormcatch, we're building verifiable digital identities for autonomous machines "a digital passport and license plate for robots". Being selected by BGA is huge validation that what we're building supports UN SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) 🌍
This is a big moment for our whole community as it brings Stormcatch more visibility, credibility, and momentum on the global stage 💪
Over the coming months, Frank van der Hulst, @Mouazzamaaa and I will be working closely with BGA to bring this to the next level.
Massive thanks to BGA and @Bybit_Official for the opportunity, and to @AmamiMickey, J. Glenn Tan, George Wong, for believing in what we're building! 🙌
Onward! 🦾 ⚡

Stormcatch is building a digital passport for robots.
As autonomous robots become part of our daily lives, every robot will need a trusted digital identity. Within the next two years, there could be more autonomous robots than humans.
This technology is powered by our blockchain infrastructure, with our token launch coming in just a few months. 🦾⚡️
After months of waiting, it's finally here 📦
What do you think is inside the box?
We've been waiting for months for this delivery. When you're working with the latest innovations in robotics and AI, patience is part of the journey. But today, the wait finally ended.
Together with Stormcatch Robot Authorization co-founder Frank van der Hulst, I'm incredibly excited and proud to welcome this special arrival. This is the first delivery of its kind in the Netherlands, making it a real milestone for us and for the Dutch robotics ecosystem.
We'll be recording an unboxing video very soon, but before we reveal what's inside:
👇 Leave your guess in the comments.
Maybe you will win a meet & greet with whatever is hiding inside this box.
A special thanks to https://t.co/IRk3178KPY for making this possible and sending us the very first one.
€200K Granted for Trusted Robot Identities
Great news! Together with Animo Solutions and Stormcatch Robot Authorization we have been awarded €200k in funding by the Provincie Zuid-Holland for our new project:
I-AM (Infrastructure for Trusted Autonomous Machines).
As a new identity layer based on verifiable credentials is emerging for people and organizations, we started asking an important question:
What will identity verification look like for autonomous machines?
Today, when you encounter a robot or drone, there is no standard way to answer basic questions:
- Who is this machine?
- What is it authorized to do?
- What actions has it performed?
To address this, we are joining forces in the I-AM project.
The goal is to develop a vendor-neutral trust layer for autonomous machines.
At Animo Solutions, the team will build on their work with wallets, verifiable credentials, and open identity standards to enable interoperable machine identities.
Together we aim to create a future where humans, organizations, and autonomous machines can interact in a verifiable and trustworthy way, aligned with frameworks such as the EU AI Act and the European Digital Identity.
We’re excited to collaborate with our partners and share progress along the way.
👉 If you work in robotics, AI governance, or digital identity, or have a use case involving verifiable machine data, we’d love to connect.
