@forcesubtractor Or at least get the 20th back in return. Then can maybe package that and a 2nd, or late first next year to move into the 10-14 range. Brutal
I’ve been a proponent of KD for years and patient to let the rebuild pan out, but this was just bad. This trade was a clear panic overreaction to all the other deals, and perhaps the Sharks confirming they’re keeping the pick. Should be a fireable offense.
If I’m the Hawks, I’m taking a run at #2 and Stenberg. If the price is too high, settle for Malhotra or Reid at 4. If my some miracle Stenberg falls to 4, even better, but super unlikely.
Seattle is not a great team. A regulation loss for the Hawks would’ve pretty much locked up that two spot, as they’re not likely to have the tiebreaker over any teams around them..
Just another game the Hawks have no business picking up any points. That game looked like someone playing chel and the offensive zone tjme being 30 minutes to 4.
Minnesota went from looking like the best team in the league the first period to looking like an AHL team the last two..and the Hawks still can’t tank properly
If it wasn’t for stellar goaltending this season, the Hawks would be down there with Vancouver. Another game where they get a point they shouldn’t have.
It would be great if the Blackhawks could stop winning. The goal should be McKenna or Stenberg, as next year was always going to be the year they take steps forward with Frondell and Kantserov coming over.
