Am meisten fasziniert haben mich aber die neuartigen Daten zur subjektiven Wahrnehmung der Gleichwertigkeit der Lebensverhältnisse aus Sicht der Bürgerinnen und Bürger.

Das Ganze basiert auf ca. 31.000 individuellen Umfragen, die so stratifiziert sind, dass mindestens 70-80 Leute aus jedem (!) deutschen Landkreis dabei sind. Sowas gab es m.W. noch nie.

Und die Ergebnisse haben mich echt überrascht! Denn bei der Basisfrage „wie zufrieden sind Sie mit ihrer Lebenssituation?�� gibt es gar nicht das klare West-Ost, Süd-Nord-Gefälle, das man vielleicht a priori erwartet hätte… Überall in Deutschland scheint es Inseln der Glückseligkeit zu geben, dafür sind Großstädter tendenziell die unglücklichsten Menschen…
