President Trump is turning up the pressure on America's allies.
In a new post, Trump criticized Italy for what he described as a refusal to help address the threat posed by Iran, despite decades of U.S. support through NATO.
"For decades, we defend them, but when tested, they are not there to defend us."
The comments come as the administration continues to push allies to take a more active role in confronting global security threats.
