@SenWarren In one of the 'richest' representative republics in the world, we shouldn't be treating serving congress as a privilege reserved for an elite class. It's about time we pass congressional term limits.
@SenWarren No. Parents can plan accordingly. Sometimes enough is enough. Roads, bridges, public education, safe food, safe drugs, military, coast guard, mail, WIC, health care subsidies, child tax credits etc... is enough.
Why do so many people think that it's ok to take a loan and not pay it back? Ever heard of a cost benefit analysis? I worked multiple jobs in college so I didn't have to take a student loan. Don't even get me started about taking a student loan on a degree that isn't in high demand. End government student loans, and let the free market underwrite the loans.
Sounds like PE copied Congress's playbook... increase debt, reckless spending, and using bailouts/bankruptcy as the typical solution. Pass a balanced budget, allow banks banks to fail, reduce regulation, ensure integrity and accountability throughout the government, then (and only then) will your words will be respected. Until then, I see you as lacking the morals to be calling the kettle black.
For what purpose.... @SenWarren In an environment where the federal government can have a spending deficit for decades and print money on a whim, what is the purpose of making scapegoating the billionaire class? I would much rather the politicians focus on accountability, integrity, reducing senseless regulations, and zero-base budgeting.
@BernieSanders Americans also want the Save Act passed at a ratio of greater than 3-to-1. How about getting the Save Act passed....
.... while you're at it, how about paying TSA workers and opening DHS.
