Tree planting and biodiversity offsets give the impression we can just create nature, or replace what we destroy. But we cannot

No technology can create a 500 yr old tree, the only thing that can is 500 yrs

Nature is irreplaceable, and we must treat it as such

Twitter has marked this video of Feargal Sharkey attacking the Water Companies as 'sensitive'.

You know what to do.

Lots of people in touch this morning about sewage across SE Cornwall.

One of the sites is Kingsand, where I joined charity swimmers just two days ago. This is unacceptable and I will be writing to South West Water to request a meeting to discuss these incidents further.

Want to know why the UK has 70% less insects in the last 25 years ? Industrial - super-tech , chemo-super slaughter . . . subsidised by me and you .
No farmers - no food - nothing on a dead planet . . .

[Dale Vince @DaleVince]

Labour are ending the use of bee killing chemicals in farming, as promised - fab news. One teaspoon of Neonics can kill 1.25 billion bees! An end to the Badger cull next pls & proper enforcement of the Fox hunting ban… it's a bit like Xmas…:) https://t.co/U0kV9uAQrF

Thank you to everyone who voted Green in North Herefordshire, and to everyone who worked so hard to make history here.

I can't wait to get started as your new MP 💚

[Hollie McNish @holliepoetry]

The Green Party also won four seats. Just repeating this till the algorithm picks it up x

[Guy Shrubsole @guyshrubsole]

So @TheGreenParty now have 4 seats - as many as the revolting Reform party are forecast to get. So why in god’s name is @BBCNews rabbiting on about Reform still and not talking about extraordinary Green performance??

[Harry Eccles @Heccles94]

RT if you think the Greens quadrupling their seats should have as much media attention as Reform!

🚨@RishiSunak has just posted a video saying Labour would “cost every working family £2,000 in higher taxes.” It now has 500,000 views

Thankfully my video debunking his boll**** claim now has a million

I will vote for any party which stops the police from running over cows.

[Chris Packham @ChrisGPackham]

I don’t know where to start with this . But it’s surely illegal and must be investigated and prosecuted . What sort of monster rams a calf ? Twice ?

[Megan McCubbin @MeganMcCubbin]

This is one of the most heartbreaking and disgusting things I’ve seen…. I hope whoever is behind the wheel of this police car is confronted by the repercussions for their horrific actions. That poor poor animal… 💔😖 @metpoliceuk @SurreyPolice @RSPCA_official

Congratulations to our Under 13s girls who have made it to the last 16 in the country in the national cup. They returned from Dorset having won 5-1, with a hat trick from Evie P and further goals from Amelia G and Priyah J
