In the source material, Knuckles never required severe punishment for when he butt heads with Sonic. The whole point is that Knuckles did what he believed was right, but was naive, and learned

@ghostxtype It sucks to have to change the framing because someone can't empathize, but framing it as a rally against corporations screwing artists on a broader scale is less likely to upset the random users that just wanna generate memes for fun, if that makes sense.

@ghostxtype I don't disagree at all, but unfortunately a lot of people are gonna take that as selfish or greedy on the artist's part (as stupid as that is). I find people are more receptive if you mention that corps will replace graphic artists on book covers, posters, etc

But it's absolutely a more memorable OST than GOW or Elden Ring, imo. Haven't played the other two so can't speak on e.

The prequel comics and episode shadow show that Infinite was a Jackal mercenary, but in game dialogue outside of episode shadow seems convinced infinite is a robot created by Eggman
