And anyone whoever met the man could attest he was a bright light that chose to see the better side of us all. A lesson I’ve grown from since knowing him. We’ll miss you dearly, Rob. Hope you find peace on the other side. #RougeLeader #RIP

The day I hired Rob Smith I was both immensely happy for the credibility I knew he was going to bring Machinima but at the same time intimidated by not being worthy of being his boss. He was an institution in the gaming industry and when he called me boss I felt unworthy.

[Rob Jones @stranger109]

I leaned far more from him than I could ever pass along. Despite that, his curiosity for the video side of gaming journalism was something he craved to learn more about. I can only hope I gave a fraction of what I received. He made us all better.
